Flourishing our Books Green: Content Analysis of an ELT Textbook

This study investigated the extent to which first-year secondary school Saudi ELT textbooks integrate ecological education content. books various themes trigger language learners' interest. However, there is a dire need include related global issues or troubled state of Mother nature. Hence focused on two environmental themes: knowledge and awareness, attitudes behaviors, their sub-theme. The used conceptual content analysis design, were evaluated using developed checklist. For analysis, data collected in 2022/2023 year. results provided statistical evidence that integrating into EFL textbook addressed minimum level basic knowledge, attitudes, behaviors. Finally, this suggested methods how can help improve students' awareness environment, behavior.
